This coming weekend (12.-14. March) the ever fabulous Italian Melges 24 Volvo Cup will kick off in Sanremo. With a week still to go to the event the race office has already received more than 50 entries with 12 nations involved in the first regatta of 2010 circuit - and there is still time to enter!
The Italian Class is delighted to inform you about a new service dedicated to all sailors and Melges 24 fans. Every racing day we will broadcast live interviews on our website: www.melges24.it. This innovative new technology will help all sailors and curious to live inside the Melges 24 world wherever they are.
Also this year the "virtual notice board", successfully tested on the 2009 circuit, will be working. The system managed by SMS will inform all competitors about protest time limit, protest schedule, first warning signal etc. The VNB doesn't replace the official notice board but it will help competitors to remind important information when engaged in different business.\
